Coach J's comments:
Even though the final score was similar to our first game today I thought we played much better and with more toughness. They just have too many big bats in the lineup. They lead the NJCAA Division III in home runs and had their fair share against us. In the two day, four game series they hit 10 home runs to our zero. That's pretty hard to overcome. Courtney Hart again led us in hitting with two hits and a base on balls. Adding singles were Destiny Kaus, Maria Espindola, Jillian Hole, Sadie Riendeau, and Karlee Brown. By winning this series NDSCS will advance to the Region XIII tournament next week. It's always difficult to see the season end knowing that the sophomores have played their last game in a Ladyjack uniform. Sophomores Destiny Kaus, Maria Espindola, Jess Mehling, Jillian Hole, and Whitley Naismith have given us a very good two years and will be greatly missed.
