This was nice and much needed win for us. We really came out swinging the bats well and jumped out to an early lead. We had a nice pitching performance from Jess Audette but she did wear down a bit in the last inning. She had limited the Wildcats to three hits and one walk through the first four innings. Jess Howard led us at the plate going five for five including two doubles. She also drove in three runners and had a stolen base. Nichole Peters played in her first game with us and had a pretty impressive four for four day. She also drove in three runners. Amanda Schmidt had three hits to go along with three RBI. Danielle Gibson and Bethany Colman contributed two hits while Jess Carson, Dariann Freer, Karlee Brown, and Sherry Chan also knock out a hit apiece. Danielle led us defensively with two catch and throw out double plays from center field. He was a great way to start the trip.
